I notice that it's been almost 3 months since the powers that be have reported any news on the subject. Is there any new developments? Has work on the game proceeded? Can we expect a modern 7th Guest game to get released?

One can only hope. They seem to be very capable developers. And they are very enthusiastic about the project. And in fact, their aspirations for the remake, as far as I could judge by the design specs, are much higher than I had anticipated.

Care to share any details regarding the bolded part above?

Well...My Dears;  "I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK...!!!"  aaahhhh, willing to be BAAAAACCCCCKKKKK; but it seems awfully quiet, indeed quite lonely again in here... Is Nobody Home?!  Hallll-oooooo-oooo...

Nothing but Echos...

Nobody, interested?  Sooooooo Sad!

This Remake, or APP, or just redone re:release... could have an audience, be out the door and ... ahem... making somebody some money... as well as delighting many who've never seen the original.

But nothing lately in here but a quite burned down old house... and a Verrrryyyy lonely Old Haint ;-).

Even the Nunan Mansion in J-Ville appears more lively of late.

Please Helpppppp....Meeeee

I'm MeLLLtttttiiiinnnnnggggg.........

love to all ~ Uncle Hank

I'm still here! I keep checking the site for responses and new posts. Maybe we should think about publicising this site more widely?

In the meantime, I shall stay here and keep Henry company for all eternity.... I can be the eighth guest perhaps.

@Robh_FAUST

I'm so sorry you're feeling so 'looooooooonely'  Grin

Send me an invitation letter or kidnapp my girlfriend, I'll be glad to join you in the mansion  Cool

P.S.
Please, if you're in for the second choise, give some time to actually FIND a girlfriend to be kidnapped.

Hopefully the silence does not indicate bad news.

You never want to jinx things, but with these economic times you can't help but feel that anything in the pipeline is getting firmly placed on hold until the situation improves.

Watched the teaser for The Collector sadly reminded me that sometimes things just don't work out as we'd wish it to. Which as a side note, I thought the trailer showed some very promising work.

Quite worryingly, I also had a couple 7th guest themed dreams last month and for some reason they're remained in my head very vividly. Rest assured they were not knightmares though (not a microscope puzzle in sight).

Got to keep a positive outlook though, I'm sure Faust hasn't decided to go on the straight and narrow just yet.

Of course, a microscope puzzle was out of question (although that, indeed, would have been a nightmare). I suppose you had themed dreams with the chess puzzles, as it was a Knightmare.

Ok, bad joke, but I couldn't resist Smiley

I always spell nightmare, Knightmare... just sentimentality of a tv show when I was a kid.

I am however disappointed i didn't see the reference to a chess puzzle myself :-)
